The second day we hired a different tuk-tuk (our first driver was a bit pushy and upsold us a little too much) and went to the famous Ta Phromh which is a temple that’s been left in its semi-ruined state.  Trees are growing literally out of the walls!  It is pretty cool and very atmospheric (and part of Tomb Raider was filmed here).
The last day we rented bicycles (for $2 each, they benefit charity) and rode around Angkor Wat and Thom all by ourselves. Â It was really relaxing, and though it rained for part of it, this was a really enjoyable way to see things. Â Unfortunately my backside disagreed after I got off the bike.
We spent a ton of time here, and it all is really more impressive than the pictures can make it feel.
